What to do if content is missing from a note

If content inside a note becomes lost or corrupted, try the following troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check Note History (Evernote Premium, Personal, Professional and Teams): Check the Note History to browse the archive of automatic backups of any note. If you find what you're looking for, you can restore the old note to your account. Learn how to access note history.
  2. Search for conflicts: Try searching for duplicate notes that were created as a result of note conflicts. Open any notes you find and check for your missing content.
  3. Recover from backup: If you have a backup of the note, you can import it back into Evernote. Learn how to back up and restore notes.
