When you decide to permanently close/delete your Evernote account, all of your data will be deleted from Evernote. This includes all notes, notebooks, tags, and other data associated with the account, such as your email address and password.
Please keep in mind that this action is not reversible. Your content will not be retrievable and your account will not be accessible anymore, even by Customer Support.
Check the email address to make sure you're deleting the correct account. If you have multiple accounts in Evernote, we strongly recommend you make sure that you're deleting the correct account by logging into your account and checking the contents.
We recommend exporting your notes before permanently closing and deleting your account in the event you'd like to have access to them in the future by using the steps found on our Help & Learning Center: Export notes and notebooks as ENEX or HTML and Export notes as a PDF.
If you have a paid Evernote subscription, you must cancel your subscription before closing your account. Closing a paid account mid-subscription will not automatically clear an open balance. Evernote’s Refund Policy applies in all cases of account closure.
