How to submit a request via Privacy web form

If you're an individual user (Free, Personal, or Professional), you can submit a privacy request, including a request to delete your Evernote account, through our web form. Please note that this form is available only to individual users.

Tips for submitting a privacy request

Enter the email address that is associated with your Evernote account

Please note that the email address you enter on the Contact Information page must be the one associated with your Evernote account. If you're requesting account deletion, ensure that you've entered the correct email address for the Evernote account you're deleting.

If you have multiple Evernote accounts, we recommend logging into the account you wish to delete and copying the email address displayed on your account page to avoid any mistakes. You can check your email address following this article: View your Evernote account information.

Troubleshooting steps

If you are not receiving a verification email

  1. Add no-reply@mail.privacy.bendingspoons.com to your contacts or your email domain's safe sender list (depending on your email provider).
  2. Check your spam folder or corporate email filter for this message.
  3. Check with your email provider if any rules may be in place that could be blocking our emails.

If the "Next" button is greyed out and you're unable to click on it on the Contact Information page

  1. Make sure the following fields are filled in:

    • First Name
    • Last Name
  2. Check the box next to "I'm sending this request on my own behalf."

  3. Select your location from the dropdown menu.

  4. Verify your email address.

Please note that the email address you enter here should be the one that is associated with your Evernote account.

Expected timeframe

After submitting your request, you will shortly receive an acknowledgement email from no-reply@mail.privacy.bendingspoons.com. We respond to requests as quickly as possible and, in any case, before the deadline established by the applicable privacy laws.

If your account type is Teams

Teams admins should use the Contact form and select Accounts and Subscriptions > Teams > I'd like to submit a privacy request. If you are a Teams user, please reach out to your Teams admins with regards to your request.
