Redirection to “No access to this note” message

If your shared note link redirects viewers to a web page with the error message "No access to this note" instead of displaying the note, you can try the following steps to resolve the issue:

1. Check note access (if the note is public)

  • Open the note.
  • Click the Share button on the top right (or click the three-dot menu and select Share).
  • In the Sharing modal, set General Access to "Anyone with the link can view" or "Anyone with the link can edit.”

This process often resolves the issue, ensuring the note is accessible to anyone with the link.

2. Share the note directly with the user (if the note is private)

  • Open the note.
  • Click the Share button on the top right (or click the three-dot menu and select Share).
  • Add the user’s contact details in the "Add name or email" field and click Send invite.

3. Ask the user to check if they are logged in the browser with the correct account

  • Open Evernote web
  • Check if you’re logged in with the account that has access to the note.
  • If not, sign out and log in with the correct account.
  • Click on the note link again.

This process often resolves the issue, ensuring the note is accessible to all invited users.
