Delete a notebook (Free, Personal, or Professional)

When you delete a notebook, all of the notes in it are moved to the trash and the empty notebook is removed from your account.

If you're using an individual account, such as Free, Personal, or Professional, and need to delete a notebook, follow the steps below for your operating system. If you're using a Teams account, please follow the instructions available in this article: Delete a notebook (Teams).

• Mac

  1. Right-click the notebook you'd like to delete.
  2. Select Delete notebook from the options list.

• Windows

  1. Right-click the notebook you'd like to delete.
  2. Select Delete notebook from the options list.

• iPhone and iPad

  1. Open the notebook you'd like to delete.
  2. Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete notebook.

• Android

  1. Open the notebook you'd like to delete.
  2. Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete notebook.

• Web

  1. Open the notebook you would like to delete.
  2. Click More actions (three dots) in the notebook header at the top of the note list.
  3. Click Delete notebook.
