Clear local data for effective troubleshooting

At times, clearing your local data is necessary to resolve issues and ensure updates or changes are applied correctly. Follow the steps below based on your platform (desktop, mobile, or web):

 

  • Desktop app (macOS and Windows)
    Log out and if asked to 'Keep local backup', select Remove my Evernote data from this device.

 

  • Mobile app (iOS and Android)
    Reinstall the app, this clears local data and ensures a fresh sync of your content.

 

  • Evernote Web (using Evernote in a web browser)
