Understanding Evernote Free Plan Limits: 1 Device Explained

The Evernote Free plan currently allows users to connect only one device at a time. This update replaces the previous limit of two connected devices. If you're an existing Free user with more than one connected device, you'll be prompted to disconnect devices until you meet the new limit when trying to access your account.

A pop-up notification reading "Upgrade to continue using Evernote on this device" will appear the next time you attempt to use Evernote on an additional device.

Follow these steps to resolve the issue:

  1. Click Unsync a device in the pop-up
  2. Follow the instructions to review the list of connected devices
  3. Choose a device to unsync, freeing up space for the current device you're using
  4. Continue using Evernote on the desired device

If the pop-up does not appear, it indicates that your account already complies with the one-device limit.
