Troubleshooting issues with Account Management and Web Actions/Logins

If you're having trouble changing your email address, closing your account, redeeming your points, or completing any other account action performed through your Accounts Settings, please take a look at the troubleshooting steps outlined below.

 

Note: The troubleshooting steps below can be applied to any issues you encounter on Evernote Web while using it on your phone or desktop, especially if they relate to login troubles using any login method (Google, Apple, email/username and password).

 

  • Evernote is not optimized for mobile browsers, and all account actions should be performed from a desktop browser. If you have tried performing an account action on mobile, please repeat it on a desktop.
  • Please visit our OS requirements article to check if your browser is compatible. You can check your version by clicking on this link. You can update it by following the instructions in this article.
  • Please make sure to clear your cache for ALL TIME. Alternatively, try using a different browser.
  • If you're using a VPN, please turn it off while using Evernote, or use the split tunneling feature if available

  • Disable Adblock for Evernote.
  • If updating your browser or clearing the cache does not work, as a last resort, please reinstall it, but first follow the instructions detailed below to uninstall it:
  • In addition to the above, if your issue is not receiving service emails from Evernote (password reset or email change emails, for example), please follow the steps outlined below:


In case the issue persists, please contact us with the following information:

  • A screenshot or screen recording of the error you receive.
  • The device you're using and its OS version.
  • The browser you're using and its version.
  • The URL of the error page. You can copy/paste the link from the error page into the email you send us.
