If the Evernote app is repeatedly showing the error message "Something went wrong on our end, sorry about that. Please try restarting Evernote.", the issue is often resolved by following these steps:
- Update to the latest version of Evernote - Your crash issues may have already been fixed with a product update. Sync Evernote, then download and install the latest version of Evernote.
- Sign out, reboot your device and sign back in.
- Uninstall and reinstall Evernote (please make sure to export your activity logs before uninstalling the app). Before uninstalling Evernote, ensure that all your notes are synced and visible in Evernote Web. You may also wish to backup or save a copy of your notes.
If the steps above are not enough to resolve the crashing issue, you can then perform a full reinstallation of the Evernote app. For detailed instructions, please refer to this article: Evernote full reinstallation.
