Sign out of Evernote

You can sign out of Evernote from any device where you're logged in. This is useful if you're switching devices, troubleshooting, or experiencing any issue. Follow the steps below to sign out from different platforms.

Sign out from the Evernote app

Desktop (Mac and Windows):

• Click your name or email address in the upper left corner, then select Sign Out.
• Alternatively, from the menu bar, select File > Sign out [name].

Mobile (iOS and Android):

1. Tap your profile picture or initials in the top left corner.
2. Tap your name or email address at the top.
3. Select Sign Out.

Sign out from the web

Click your name or email address in the upper left corner, then select Sign Out.

Sign out from the Web Clipper

1. Click the Web Clipper icon in your browser toolbar.
2. At the bottom of the clipper panel, click the gear icon (Settings).
3. Click Logout [name].

Force sign-out from a device (revoke access)

In addition to signing out from the app, you can also revoke access remotely from your account settings page. This is especially useful if you're having issues or want to force a sign-out from lost or inactive devices.
