I purchased an Evernote subscription, but my account is not upgraded

If you've purchased an Evernote subscription through iTunes or Google Play and still see your account showing up as Evernote Free, make sure that:

  1. You haven’t unintentionally upgraded a secondary Evernote account. Please make sure you log in to Evernote with every other possible email address you may have.
  2. Your payment has been processed
  3. You double-checked your subscription status by signing in to your account settings.

How to check if iTunes has processed your subscription payment

To check if iTunes has successfully processed your subscription:

  1. Sign out of Evernote on your device, restart it, then sign back into Evernote.
  2. Verify your account type: Log in to the Account Summary of your account settings and check your Account Type.
  3. Find your iTunes receipt: When you purchase a subscription, iTunes should email a receipt to your Apple ID email address. If you haven't received a receipt, contact iTunes or make sure the purchase shows up in your iTunes account purchase history. This receipt is required in case you need to contact the Support team about your purchase.

How to check if Google Play has processed your subscription payment

To check if Google Play has successfully processed your subscription:

  1. Sign out of Evernote on your device, restart it, then sign back into Evernote.
  2. Verify your account type: Log in to the Account Summary of your account settings and check your Account Type.
  3. Find your Google Play receipt: When you purchase a subscription, Google should email a receipt to your Google Play Store email address. If you haven't received a receipt, contact Google or make sure the purchase shows up in your Google Play order history. This receipt is required in case you need to contact the Support team about your purchase.
