I purchased Evernote Plus or Premium on iTunes, but my account is still showing up as Evernote Basic

If you've purchased Evernote Plus or Premium from iTunes and still see your account showing up as Evernote Basic, the first thing you should do is make sure iTunes has processed your request, then check your account by logging in to Evernote Web.

Ways to check if iTunes has processed the subscription

To check if iTunes has successfully processed your subscription:

  1. Sign out, restart, and sign back in to Evernote: Select 'Sign Out of {account name}' (desktop clients), tap Logout (iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch), or Sign Out (Android) from the Account Info screen, restart your device, then sign back in to your account.
  2. Verify your account type: Log in to your 'Account Summary' page from any web browser and check your 'Account Type'.
  3. Find your iTunes receipt: When purchased Evernote Plus or Premium, iTunes should email a receipt to your Apple ID email address. If you haven't received a receipt, you'll need to contact iTunes or make sure your purchase shows up in your iTunes account 'Purchase History'. This receipt is helpful in case you should need to contact the Support team about your purchase.

What if I still don't see my Plus or Premium purchase reflected in Evernote?

If you have an iTunes receipt confirming your purchase but your account type still shows Evernote Basic, please contact us.

It would be helpful to do the following in your ticket submission:

  1. Attach a copy of your iTunes receipt as a proof of purchase
  2. Let us know your Apple ID (especially if it's different from your Evernote login email address)
