Find your Evernote email address

Your Evernote email address is a unique address you can use to save emails into Evernote. It looks something like this: username.5199b42@m.evernote.com. Find your Evernote email address in your account settings by following the steps for your operating system below.

• Mac

  Click Evernote > Settings from the menu bar, then click Personal Info > Go to your profile. Your email address is in the 'Email Notes to' section.

• Windows

  Click Tools > Settings from the menu bar. Your email address is in the 'Email Notes to' section.

• iPhone and iPad

  Tap your profile icon in the upper right corner, then tap Account > Evernote email.

• Android

  Tap your profile icon in the upper right corner, then tap Account > Evernote email.

• Web

  Click your name in the upper left corner of the browser window, then select Account Info from the dropdown menu. Your email address is in the 'Email Notes to' section.

Once you've located your Evernote email address, save it in your contacts with a name that is easy to remember, such as "Evernote Email".

Reset your email address

To reset your incoming email address, go to your account settings, select Account Summary, then click Reset in the 'Email Notes to' section. This is useful when you've shared your incoming email address with others and want to revoke access to it or when you receive spam in your account.

Customizing your incoming Evernote email address

Unfortunately, this is currently not possible. Your incoming email address can be reset from time to time as a safety precaution, but you cannot customize it with a specific address.

The email address you use to send notes to Evernote is automatically generated and is only intended for your personal use. It has been designed to prevent unauthorized people from easily remembering and using it to send content to your Evernote account.

For quick access to your Evernote incoming email address, simply save it to your contacts in your email application, as you would any other contact. Create a new contact using your incoming email address and name it "Send to Evernote" or "To Evernote", for example. Next time you'd like to save or forward an email to Evernote, select the contact from your email list.
