A callout block is a visually highlighted container inside your note that makes important information stand out at a glance — perfect for tips, warnings, key insights, or anything you want readers to notice immediately.

How to add a callout block

You can insert a callout block using the slash command:

  1. Place your cursor at the beginning of a new line, or after a space at the end of an existing line.
  2. Type / to open the slash command menu.
  3. Select Callout from the list of available elements.
  4. Type your content inside the callout block.

Callout blocks are available on desktop, web, and mobile.

Customizing a callout block

Once you've inserted a callout block, you can change its emoji and format the text inside it - bold, italic, bullet points, and more are supported.
