What is a pinned tab?
When you open notes in Evernote for Desktop, each note can appear as a tab at the top of the note editor. Pinned tabs stay in place and remain open across your workflow, even as you navigate to other notes. Unpinned tabs may be replaced when you open a new note.
Pin a tab
- Open a note in Evernote for Desktop so it appears as a tab.
- Right-click the tab.
- Select Pin tab.
Pinned tabs appear at the front of the tab bar.
Unpin a tab
- Right-click the pinned tab.
- Select Unpin tab.
