Evernote has two separate limits that are easy to confuse:
- Monthly upload limit — Controls how much new content you can add each month and resets monthly. Once you hit this limit, you can't upload new content until the next reset.
- Storage limit — The total amount of content your account can hold. This doesn't reset, as it's an overall cap. If you reach your storage limit, you'll need to delete some content or upgrade to a higher tier.
Regardless of the limit reached, your existing content remains fully accessible.
| Plan | Monthly upload limit | Storage limit |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 250 MB | 1 GB |
| Starter | 10 GB | 5 GB |
| Advanced | Unlimited* | Unlimited* |
*Safeguard limits apply to ensure performance and prevent abuse.
