If you downgrade to the Starter plan, or subscribe to the Starter plan, but your account exceeds the limits of the Starter plan, you will not lose access to your content, as your data will remain in your account. You can still view, edit, export, and delete existing notes and notebooks.
What happens if you downgrade to Starter and your account exceeds its limits:
- All your notes and notebooks will still be accessible. However, with the Starter plan, you'll be limited to accessing Evernote on three devices at a time. You will be prompted to disconnect any extra ones.
- Once on the Starter plan, you won't be able to create new notes if your account has more than 1,000 notes or more than 20 notebooks. Similarly, you will not be able to upload new attachments if your account already has more than 1,000 attachments. This is an overall limit, not a monthly one.
- Some premium features will no longer be available, including unlimited device sync, unlimited storage and unlimited tags.
Note: This only applies if you have an Individual account (either a Personal, Professional or Advanced subscription). If you have a Teams subscription, please refer to this article.
