You can choose to downgrade your account from Advanced to Starter effective at your next renewal. Your subscription will remain unchanged until the end of your current billing cycle. Once your current plan expires, your membership will renew at the Starter level.
To proceed, follow the instructions based on your payment method:
Apple
- Mac: Downgrade your subscription in the App Store.

iPhone and iPad: Downgrade your subscription through your Apple account.
Google Play
You’re welcome to cancel your subscription and subscribe to a Starter plan once your current subscription expires.
Direct payments (credit card or PayPal)
Downgrading from Advanced to Starter at your next renewal
To downgrade your plan to Starter with your next payment:
- Go to your Account Settings and open Account Summary.
- Select Manage plan.
- Choose Downgrade plan to set your next renewal to the Starter level.
Downgrading from Professional/Personal to Starter
If your current plan is Professional or Personal, you’ll need to cancel your subscription and then resubscribe to the Starter plan once your current subscription expires.
Note: None of your content will be lost. You retain full ownership of your data even if your account is downgraded or your subscription is canceled. You can continue to view, edit, export, and delete all existing notes and notebooks.
