When you cancel your Evernote Professional subscription, your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle. After that, your subscription will be canceled, and your account will automatically revert to Evernote Free. None of your data will be lost, and you will maintain access to all of your notes and notebooks.

The steps to cancel your subscription may vary depending on your payment method:

  • Credit Card, PayPal, or SEPA

    1. Log in to your account settings via Evernote Web.
    2. Select Billing from the left-hand side menu.
    3. At the bottom of the Billing page, select Cancel your Evernote subscription.
    4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Continue to cancel.
    5. Provide a reason for canceling the subscription.
    6. Click the Cancel subscription button.
If you're using an older subscription system and the above steps don't apply, follow these instructions:
    1. Log in to your account settings in Evernote Web.
    2. Select Manage subscription on the Account Summary page.
    3. Select Evernote Free (a free Evernote account).

Upon successful cancellation, you'll receive an email confirmation. You can also verify the cancellation by checking the Billing History section in your Evernote account settings: if you see the Restore button, it indicates that your subscription has been successfully canceled and won't renew.

Please note that we’re currently making updates to improve our billing and payment system. As a result, you may experience some limitations in accessing your complete billing history (your past invoices may be temporary unavailable or you may face an error message when accessing the Billing section of your account settings) . We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding during this time. If you need help cancelling your subscription, please feel free to contact us.
