When prompted, follow the steps to authorize Evernote to access your Google account. You may be prompted in the following situations:

Connect a Google account

To connect a Google account to Evernote:

  1. Go to the "Connected Services" page of your account settings.
  2. Next to any of the connected services listed, click Connect. If you already have one account connected, click Add account (Professional and Teams only).
  3. Sign in to your Google account with your Google login information.
  4. Follow the prompts. You must click the blue Allow button on the permissions page to connect.
  5. Once connected, close the browser window and return to Evernote.

Disconnect a Google account

To disconnect a Google account from Evernote:

  1. Go to the "Connected Services" page of your account settings.
  2. Next to any of the connected services listed, click Disconnect.

Note: If you encounter issues disconnecting the account through Evernote account settings, you can also manage third-party connections directly through your Google account:

  1. Visit your Google Account’s third-party connections page.
  2. Find and click on Evernote.
  3. Delete all connections with Evernote.

Yes. You can manage the various Google connections in your account settings. Note that you can only have 1 account for Google Sign-In and 1 account for Google Drive. For Google Calendar and Contacts, you can have 1 account with a Personal plan and 5 accounts with a Professional or Teams plan.

When I authorize Evernote to connect to my Google account, what in my Evernote account can Google see and vice versa?

When you authorize Evernote to connect to your Google account, you are giving Evernote permission to view and access certain aspects of your Google account, listed on the permissions page when you connect. Google cannot see or access any notes in your Evernote account.

Evernote will collect and receive event details (title, date, time, location), attendees and their acceptance status, locations, and video conferencing links. Google cannot see or access any notes in your Evernote account.
