Save changes to your notes
In most cases, changes made to notes are saved automatically. However, there are some slight differences between our desktop apps and mobile apps. In addition, keep in mind that Evernote is only able to sync saved changes when you’re connected to the internet.

Mac
Changes made to a note are periodically saved automatically. To sync immediately in the older version of Evernote for Mac, click the sync button at the top of the app.
Note: The option to sync immediately on demand is not available in the new Evernote for Mac, as changes will be saved automatically. You will see "All changes saved" in the bottom right corner of Evernote once changes have been saved.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
The new Evernote for iOSAfter editing a note, tap the green checkmark in the upper left corner to save changes.
Older version of Evernote for iOSExit the note by tapping the back arrow to save changes.
Note: If using Evernote on iPad with the note list and note body as a split screen, you can simply navigate to another note to save changes.

Exit the note by tapping the back arrow to save changes.

Web
Changes made to a note are automatically saved.
