Locate the app version

Sometimes it may be necessary to know the version number of the app you’re using. This can help you determine if you are using the newest version of Evernote, and often helps our Support team with troubleshooting. To locate the app version, follow the steps for your operating system below.

• Mac

  Click Evernote > About Evernote from the menu bar. The version is located in the first line of text.

• Windows

  Click Help > About... from the menu bar. The version is located in the first line of text.

• iPhone and iPad

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner to open the navigation menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. The version is located at the bottom of the menu.

• Android

  1. Tap your profile icon in the top left corner to open the navigation menu.
  2. Select Settings.
  3. The version is located at the bottom of the menu.

• Web

  1. Click your profile icon in the top left corner to open the account menu.
  2. Select Need help? > Release notes.
  3. Open the tab About.
  4. The version is located in the first line of text.
