Import notes and notebooks
You can import (restore) previously exported notes and notebooks into Evernote using one of our desktop applications. The imported notes will automatically be placed in a new notebook titled "Import [file_name]" (Mac) or "Imported notes" (Windows). From there, you can move or copy them to any notebook of your choice. You can only import content using Evernote for Mac or Windows.
To learn how to export your notes, see Export notes.
