What to do if you forgot the Evernote mobile passcode

If you’ve forgotten the 4-digit passcode for your Evernote mobile app, or if the passcode isn’t being recognized, don’t worry!

The passcode is there to protect your app while you’re logged in, allowing you to skip the full login process each time you open the app. Even though you only have 5 attempts to enter the correct passcode, this doesn’t mean you’ll be locked out permanently.

What happens if you use all 5 attempts?

If you can’t remember your passcode, feel free to use all 5 attempts. After 5 unsuccessful tries, the passcode will be removed, and you’ll simply be logged out of the Evernote app. At that point, you can log back in using your Evernote account credentials, and you won’t be prompted to set up the passcode again unless you choose to do so.

Need to reset your password?

If you’ve also forgotten your Evernote account password, you can reset it by clicking on this link.
