Camera iconHow to use the in-app camera

Launch the in-app camera: Tap the upward arrow on the new note button, then tap Take a photo or Scan a document. In older versions of the app, tap the camera icon from the Evernote home screen (iOS) or the Evernote Android widget. Snap a photo by tapping the shutter button. The captured image will be saved as a new note.

Auto-capture: The easiest way to scan documents is to hold the camera steadily over the document or card so that the edges are visible inside the frame. The camera automatically detects, focuses, and takes a snapshot of the document.
