Parental consent for educational institutions
If you are a school, school district, teacher or other educator and want your students who are under the age of 13 to create Evernote service accounts, including in conjunction with the establishment of an Evernote Teams account for the school or a group of students at the school, you will need to obtain any necessary consents (including consent from a parent or guardian, as applicable) before creating such accounts. You must provide the parent or guardian a copy of Evernote’s Privacy Policy, and keep copies of any consents on file and provide them to Evernote upon request. Regardless of which Evernote entity you contract with (as described in our Terms of Service and Evernote Teams Agreement), your account data will be stored in the United States.

For your convenience, we have provided a Direct Notice form and a sample Parental Consent form to assist you in obtaining any necessary parental consent.
