Wireless scanning

The ScanSnap Evernote Edition is Wi-Fi enabled so you can scan wirelessly from wherever it's convenient. You could scan receipts and photos from the kitchen counter, for instance, or business cards and legal documentation at your desk.

Note: You can pair the scanner with one computer at a time or connect other computers with a USB cable.

Step 1: Open ScanSnap Manager Wi-Fi tab

  1. Connect the scanner to your computer via USB cable
  2. Open ScanSnap Manager Evernote Edition software from your computer's taskbar or menu bar
ScanSnap manager settings

To view Wi-Fi settings:

  1. Click the gear icon to open the settings
  2. Select the Wi-Fi tab

Step 2: Enable Wi-Fi settings

From the ScanSnap Manager Wi-Fi tab, select Enable Wi-Fi Scanning
Enable ScanSnap Wi-Fi

To connect to ScanSnap to the Wi-Fi:

  1. Turn on the Wi-Fi switch on the back of the scanner
  2. The scanner will detect your computer's current Wi-Fi network and, if required, prompt you for a network password
  3. Wait until you see the computer indicate that Wi-Fi scanning is enabled, then unplug the scanner from your computer

I recently changed my wireless router and my Macbook is connected to the wireless network and working well. I plugged my ScanSnap Evernote edition via USB and turned the Wifi on the scansnap on, but ScanSnap manager still will not connect and asks I connect my computer to wireless net work. I have tried rebooting ScanSnao scanner, and redoing all the steps with no luck. Again the only change I have made is a new wireless router that is connected and working well

I am having the exact same issue. I have not changed my router but I have changed the name of my network.
