How to set up the Evernote widget on iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
With the Evernote widget, you can view and create notes from the Search screen without the need to launch the Evernote app itself or even unlock your phone. Use the Evernote widget to quickly add new notes, create reminders, scan docs, and search for notes in your account.
Collapsed mode: By default, the Evernote widget appears in collapsed mode, displaying just one related note, based on your most recent and frequently visited notes.
Expanded mode: The expanded mode displays up to three recommended notes (based on what you’ve recently or most frequently viewed) and offers you frequently used actions:
- Create a new note
- Add a new scan or photo
- Add a reminder
- Search your notes
To toggle between the collapsed and expanded modes, tap Show Less or Show More.
