Why is the new Evernote Web only available using Chrome, Safari, Firefox, or Opera?
We've optimized the new Evernote Web for use on these browsers. We're working to support additional browsers in the future.
How do I collapse/expand the sidebar?
You can collapse the sidebar by clicking on the left-arrow icon at the bottom of the sidebar. You can expand the sidebar by clicking on the right-arrow icon at the bottom of the sidebar.
Can I change the sidebar to a custom size?
No. You can only expand in full or collapse to show just the icons.
I’m using the older version of Evernote Web. How do I switch to the new Evernote Web?
In a supported browser, click your profile photo in the lower left corner of the browser window, then select Switch to the new Evernote Web from the popup menu.
How do I select multiple notes or notebooks, or perform bulk actions, like moving multiple notes between notebooks?
For now, you can perform bulk actions using Evernote for Mac or Windows. Other multi-select functions are not yet supported on the web, but are coming soon.
What features and functions are not available compared to the older version of Evernote Web?
There are a number of features and functions that will currently require you to switch back to the older version of Evernote Web. These include:
- Create and execute saved searches
- Multi-file and advanced attachments
- Drag and drop to desktop
- Set reminders
- Access Work Chat messages
- View published business notebooks (Evernote Business)
I’m using the new Evernote Web. How do I switch back to the older version of Evernote Web?
Click your name in the upper left corner of the browser window, then select Switch to older version of Evernote from the dropdown menu.
