Evernote makes it easy to share notes with others. Share notes such as meeting agendas, design ideas clipped from the web, travel itineraries, reports, or project task lists.
Share a note within Evernote
When you share a note within Evernote, recipients can open the note directly from the "Shared with Me" section of the app. Any time the recipient clicks the note from "Shared with Me", they should see the most recent version. To share a note within Evernote, follow the steps for your operating system below.

Mac
- Open the note you would like to share.
- Click the button with a silhouette and set the General access.
- When choosing Only with Invite, enter at least one email, set the permissions, and click Invite.

Windows
- Open the note you would like to share.
- Click the button with a silhouette and set the General access.
- When choosing Only with Invite, enter at least one email, set the permissions, and click Invite.

iPhone and iPad
- Open the note you would like to share.
- Tap the More options button (three dots) > Share note.
- Choose whether you'll Share with or Email a copy, which only emails the current copy of the note to the recipient.
- When choosing Share with, set the General access.
- If General Access is set to Only with an invite, enter at least one email, set the permissions, and click Invite.

- Open the note you would like to share.
- Tap the More options button (three dots) > Share note.
- Choose whether you'll Share with or Email a copy, which only emails the current copy of the note to the recipient.
