Understand your Evernote Teams billing cycle

Your billing date is the day that you create your Evernote Teams account, and your billing cycle runs until that day of the next month or year (depending on whether you pay monthly or annually). For example, if you create an Evernote Teams account on September 10th, you will be charged for the number of users in your account on the 10th of each subsequent month or year that your account is active.

Overview

Charges are assessed based on the payment type and billing frequency of your account, as well as what point in your billing cycle you are adding a new user.

• Credit card payments (annual)

  You will be charged for all seats on your billing date each year.

  If you add a user during the middle of your billing cycle, you will be charged a monthly prorated amount based on the month in which the user is added. For example, if you pay annually on September 10th and you add a user on February 6th, you will be immediately charged a prorated amount equivalent to 8 months of service for that user.

  Note: You will only be billed in whole months. We do not charge a prorated amount based on the day a new user is added.

• Credit card payments (monthly)

  You will be charged for all seats on your billing date each month.

  If you add a user at any point in your monthly billing cycle, you will be charged the full monthly amount for that user, regardless of the date or time remaining in the month. For example, if you pay monthly on the 10th of each month and you add a user on the 6th, you will be immediately charged the full monthly amount on the 6th for the new user, and you will be charged again for all users when your billing cycle starts over on the 10th.

  Note: You will only be billed in whole months. We do not charge a prorated amount based on the day a new user is added.

• Invoice payments

  You will be charged for all seats on your billing date each year.

  If you add a seat during the middle of your billing cycle, your invoice will be updated based on the month in which the seat is added. For example, if you are invoiced annually on September 10th and you add a seat on February 6th, your invoice will be updated with a prorated amount equivalent to 8 months of service for that user.
