Create shortcuts
Shortcuts are a quick way to access most frequently used content in your Evernote account. Create a shortcut to notes, notebooks, notebook stacks, tags, or saved searches. Each of these shortcuts are marked by different icons in the navigation menu.
Create a shortcut
To create a shortcut, follow the instructions for your operating system below.

Mac
Right-click on the note, notebook, notebook stack, or tag in the list, and select Add to Shortcuts from the pop-up menu.
Note: You cannot add tags to shortcuts in the new Evernote for Mac.

Windows
Right-click on the note, notebook, notebook stack, or tag in the list, and select Add to Shortcuts from the pop-up menu.
Note: You cannot add tags to shortcuts in the new Evernote for Windows.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
Click the More actions button (three dots) in the top right corner of a note or notebook and select Add to shortcuts. For tags, open the navigation menu and select Tags, then swipe left on a tag and tap Add to shortcuts.

Android
Click the More actions button (three dots) in the top right corner of a note, notebook, or tag and select Add to shortcuts.

Web
The new Evernote Web: Click the More actions button (three dots) in the top right corner of a note or notebook and select Add to shortcuts.
Note: You cannot add tags to shortcuts in the new Evernote Web.
Older version of Evernote Web: Hover over a note, notebook, or tag in their respective lists, then click the star button.
Note: You cannot add tags to shortcuts in Evernote Teams accounts.
To add a saved search to your shortcuts: When creating a new saved search, check the box next to "Add this saved search to Shortcuts". If you've already created the saved search, run it, click the three dots at the top of the note list panel, click Edit saved search..., then check the box to add it to shortcuts.
