Frequently Asked Questions
If SSO is enabled, why can’t I save notes from Skitch, Penultimate, or other apps into my team notebooks?
Currently only Evernote supports SSO, and can save and access notes in team notebooks. If you’re using Skitch, Penultimate, or other applications without SSO, you cannot save and access content in team notebooks.
How can I tell if SSO has been enabled?
Once your team enables SSO, you should be notified by an Evernote account admin. Contact your IT administrator or Evernote account admin if you haven’t received any notifications.
Do I have to log in to SSO each time I launch Evernote?
No. When your IT department sets up SSO, they can configure it so that you can remain signed in for a specified number of days.
How does SSO work with two-step verification?
If your team enables two-step verification, you'll be required to go through a second two-step verification process before you can access content in your team account.
