When you delete a note, it’s moved to the Trash. The Trash is synced across your devices like all of your other synced content. To delete a note, follow the steps for your operating system below.

Mac
- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Move to Trash from the options list.

Windows
- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Move to Trash from the options list.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete note.

Android
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete note.

Web
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Click the menu button (three dots) and select Move to Trash.
Note:
Evernote currently supports deleting notes up to 100, or an entire notebook at a time. When you delete a notebook, all the notes in the notebook can be deleted even if there are more than 100 notes.
