Delete a note
When you delete a note, it’s moved to the Trash. The Trash is synced across your devices like all of your other synced content. To delete a note, follow the steps for your operating system below.

Mac
The new Evernote for Mac- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Move to Trash from the options list.
- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Delete Note from the options list.

The new Evernote for Windows- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Move to Trash from the options list.
- Right-click the note you'd like to delete.
- Select Delete Note from the options list.

iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch
The new Evernote for iOS- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete note.
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the options button (three dots), then select Move to Trash.

The new Evernote for Android- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the More actions button (three dots), then select Delete note.
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Tap the options button (three dots), then select Delete note.

- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Click the menu button (three dots) and select Move to Trash.
Older version of Evernote Web
- Open the note you'd like to delete.
- Click Delete note button (trash can).
