How to import Outlook tasks into Evernote
The Evernote add-in for Outlook (bundled with Evernote for Windows) allows you to import your tasks from most versions of Microsoft Outlook into Evernote.
If the add-in doesn't seem to be working as expected, you can import your tasks by following these steps:
- Make a copy of your Outlook database file
- Using Outlook's Advanced Search, search for tasks that contain items or attachments over 30 kilobytes (kb). Copy and paste these items in to Microsoft OneNote, then import them into Evernote using the OneNote import wizard.
- Install the free Outport application, which allows you to transform your Outlook tasks into individual HTML files
- Drag these HTML files into Evernote, which will import them as individual notes
