How to add content in Evernote for Windows
There are a several different ways to add content to your Evernote account from your Windows computer, aside from just typing text in a new note window. All of them are fairly straightforward and most can use Evernote's global keyboard shortcuts.
The Evernote Helper lets you create a note at any time, no matter what you’re doing on your computer, by clicking the elephant in the menu bar in your system tray near your clock. The simplest way to create a new note is to right-click Evernote Helper and choose New Note. Once you’re done with your thought, your note will sync with the rest of your Evernote account. You can also create screenshots or copy and paste selections from the Evernote Helper menu.
Paste to Evernote
After you copy something to the system clipboard, you can paste it into a note. This will work with just about any application on your computer and is a very simple way to quickly save things to Evernote.
