Frequently asked questions
What's different about the new plans?
Our new plans have been redesigned to offer more choices and fit better with the way you work. Learn more by visiting each of the pages below:
Can I still renew my plan if I'm on an old plan?
Yes. As long as you maintain your subscription with automatic renewal, you can stay on your current legacy-priced Plus or Premium plan for as long as it's available. Premium customers who have been automatically upgraded to Personal cannot go back to Premium; however, those customers will continue to get all of the benefits of Premium, plus access to all-new features in Evernote Personal.
How do I upgrade to a new plan?
To learn how to upgrade your Evernote subscription, visit How to manage your Evernote subscription.
Can I return to or start a new Evernote Plus or Premium subscription?
No. Evernote Plus and Evernote Premium are no longer available for purchase, even if you have had one of these subscriptions in the past.
Why wasn't I automatically upgraded to Evernote Personal?
If you were not automatically upgraded to Evernote Personal, this means you are paying a legacy price on your subscription plan. You are welcome to upgrade to the new Personal plan at its current price.
Do I have to upgrade to a new plan?
Some customers have been automatically upgraded to a new plan. Others, such as those with legacy-priced Plus or Premium subscriptions, are remaining on their current plan. If you are a customer remaining on your current plan, you do not have to upgrade to a new plan at this time.
Will I lose any features I currently pay for?
You will not lose features that are part of your subscription plan, such as unlimited devices and higher monthly uploads.
I have an Evernote Teams account and read that I also need to update my Evernote app. Is that true?
It is highly recommended you update to the latest version of Evernote. As we roll out new features, they will only be available in our newest apps. As part of updating your app, you may also be prompted to update your Evernote Teams account if you haven't already. See Update your Evernote Teams account for more information.
