  • April 8, 2021 - Version 10.11.4

    New

    • Drag-and-drop files onto a space or shortcut in the sidebar to add them to a space, notebook, or stack.
    • Evernote Business customers: Published notebooks are back! Create notebooks and easily share them with your entire organization.
    • Stability and performance improvements.

    Fixed

    • Miscellaneous bug fixes.
  • March 11, 2021 - Version 10.9.10

    New

    • You can now choose your preferred notebook when dragging a file to a stack.
    • Now you can drag-and-drop files onto the sidebar to create a new note or import a note to a notebook or stack.
    • We tweaked the notebook view to show the total number of notebooks you have in your account. And when you view a space you’ll now see how many notebooks and uncategorized notes are in that space. It’s the little things.
    • We tidied up the navigation menu to make it easier for you to get around. All Notes is now called Notes, and we rearranged the list items so you can find what you need faster. And if you’re an Evernote Business customer, you can also collapse the Spaces list.
    • We made it easier for you to add new items from the sidebar. Just hover over the Notes, Notebooks, Tags, or Spaces headers and wait for the handy “+” button to appear.
    • Evernote Business customers: Don’t want the sidebar to show you every single notebook in a space? No problem! You can now turn that off (or back on again) in Account Settings - Preferences.

    Fixed

    • Sometimes the app would crash after performing a search, but it’s now a thing of the past.
    • We fixed an issue with Home that would sometimes make the background image shake.
    • We squashed a few search-related bugs.
  • February 17, 2021 - Version 10.8.5

    New

    • Tagging is now even easier. Drag a note from the note list and drop it onto a tag in the sidebar to apply that tag.
    • If you’ve added a tag to your shortcuts, any tags nested under it will now also appear in that list.
    • You can now drag-and-drop tags in the sidebar to create nested tags. It’s one more way to stay organized.
    • You told us you want external links in your notes to open the first time you click them. So we made it happen.

    Fixed

    • Miscellaneous bug fixes
  • February 9, 2021 - Version 10.8.4

    New

    • The ‘toggle view’ keyboard shortcuts are back! Cycle through snippets, cards, top list, or side list with just a few keystrokes using Ctrl (Windows) or Shift (Mac) + F5/F6/F7/F8.
    • We added a new keyboard shortcut! Open a new note window from anywhere on your desktop (even if Evernote is in the background) by pressing Ctrl-Alt-N (Windows) or Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-N (Mac).
    • Don’t like the way a global keyboard shortcut is set up? Change it! You can now edit global keyboard shortcuts to find the perfect combination of characters. Access the keyboard shortcuts menu by using Ctrl (Windows) or Cmd (Mac) + /.
    • You can now right-click on tags in the sidebar for quick access to more options.
