Create a template

There are two ways to create a template:
  • Start a new template from scratch. On desktop, open the Templates section in the sidebar and click New template, or open the sidebar three-dot menu and choose Template. This opens a blank template you can build directly, without creating a note first.
  • Turn an existing note into a template. If you already have a note in the format you want, follow the steps below to save it as a template.
